Friends of Mulwaree Ponds Landcare

We meet once a month on the 4th Sunday of each month 10am till 12noon 

to care for this patch of land. Anyone is welcome, young and old.

Friends of Mulwaree Ponds Update

On Sunday 25th of May, we had about 10 volunteers who planted around 200 grasses and shrubs

and cleaned up rubbish along the banks of the Mulwaree Ponds. Well done!


Moving forward we will be meeting once a month on the 4th Sunday of each month 

to care for this patch of land. Anyone is welcome, young and old.


When: Next working bee Sun 22nd June 10am - 12noon

Meet: at the end of Cole Street


Some activities we will be doing are:

. Planting down to and around the new drainage line of the walking bridge.

. Clean up of the amphitheater area, potentially as well.

. Blackberry removal (fun)

. Clearing ivy and digging out Madeira vine tubers

. Cut and paste pivot and catoniasta

. spread the remaining mulch
